Did anyone do the RSPB bird count last weekend? We did. One interesting statistic – the average number of sparrows was 4, we got to 20 and had to stop counting because there were so many, and they would not keep still. Lots of different birds too, just a shame the red kites don’t settle down on the lawn; or perhaps not, they are rather large.
