Good evening everyone,
I hope you have all had a good week. We have had an interesting one. On Monday we went to Whitby. Have you ever wondered what would happen if the swing bridge swung open to let the boats through – and then did not swing back? On Monday we found out – the hard way – you walk up to the next bridge and round the other side, a long 45 minute walk in brilliant sunshine with a blue sky.
That did not spoil the day – we had delicious fish and chips – then sat on the pier watching the boats and gulls – and if you have never tried it, the park and ride bus service is cheaper than parking in town (for 2 adults with bus passes).
