Barwick school child in the last twelve for Children's Mayor of Leeds - please vote!
A pupil from Barwick school has been shortlisted in the last twelve for the title of Children's Mayor of Leeds. Anna has done amazingly well to get this far and her manifesto for helping children with mental health issues is truly inspiring.
To win Anna needs votes from under 18’s who attend a Leeds school. With Barwick being such a small school Anna has a major disadvantage in the voting, up against much bigger Leeds schools. So we are spreading the message far and wide to help support her. If you could encourage your children to vote it would be much appreciated. This would be a wonderful thing for our corner of Leeds if Anna won. Voting ends September 19th, 5pm. Here is the link.
