ANNUAL SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE AND THANKSGIVING

ALL SAINTS’ CHURCH, BARWICK IN ELMET

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 6th 2016, at 6pm.

On Sunday, November 6th, we shall be holding a short service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving for those who have recently died. Many people find this helpful and we welcome anyone who has recently lost a loved one to come to the service.

It will last for about an hour.  There will be hymns and prayers and at one point the names of those who have died will be read out so that we can remember them personally. After this has happened there will be an opportunity for you to light a candle in memory of your loved one. There will also be a short address, focussing on our Christian faith.

We hope you will be able to join us to share this experience and stay for a chat and a cup of coffee when the service is over.

If you would like to give us the name of the person you wish to remember, or need any further information, please contact Sylvia Snowdon on 0113 2644593.
